Mati Colarossi requested samples of literary translations to add to her blog, Parallel Texts, which at the same time promotes the contributor&#8217;s work. My offering was the first part of &#8216;A Flower&#8217;s Evening&#8217; by Catulle Mend\u00e8s. Mati has put in a lot of effort to publish my sample, placing it side by side with the original French text.
